Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. The guides will provide instructions on park rules, safety measures, and tips for observing gorillas without disturbing their natural behavior. The trek itself can last anywhere from 2 to 5 hours depending on the gorillas’ location, so it is important to wear sturdy hiking shoes and carry essentials like water, snacks, and a camera.
