Day 1: Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Entebbe. The scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park takes you through rolling hills, lush countryside, and local villages, providing a glimpse of Ugandan rural life. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge or safari camp and relax before the evening. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy the lodge’s surroundings and a refreshing dinner while preparing for the adventure-filled days ahead.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

Start the day early with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and a variety of antelopes across the park’s diverse habitats. Afterward, enjoy a scenic lunch at the lodge before embarking on a tranquil afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This waterway teems with hippos, crocodiles, and a stunning array of bird species, offering unique photographic opportunities and unforgettable wildlife experiences. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi with a Game Drive in Ishasha

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. En route, stop at Ishasha sector for a game drive in search of the famous tree-climbing lions and other savannah wildlife. Continue through scenic southwestern Uganda, enjoying rolling hills, banana plantations, and traditional villages. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check into your lodge near the park. The evening is for relaxation, dinner, and preparation for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali

Wake up early for an exciting gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an informative briefing at the park headquarters, follow your expert guides into the dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family. Encounter these majestic primates in their natural habitat and enjoy close-up observation and photography. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Kigali, Rwanda.
