Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe, driving west through scenic countryside toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey passes tea plantations, rolling hills, and rural communities, with lunch taken en route. Upon arrival in the park in the afternoon, you check in to your lodge and later enjoy a relaxed evening game drive, where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other plains game. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, you head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in the park. This is the ideal time to look for predators such as lions and leopards, as well as large herds of buffaloes and elephants. After lunch, you enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway linking Lake Edward and Lake George. The cruise offers exceptional opportunities to see hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species at close range. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Optional Activities and Return Transfer
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before an optional activity such as a guided nature walk or a visit to the nearby crater lakes for scenic views and photography. Alternatively, you may choose an early morning chimpanzee tracking excursion in the Kyambura Gorge (optional and subject to permit availability). After the activity, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe with lunch en route, arriving in the late afternoon or evening.
